Hi, I’m Jenny…
…an instructional designer who turns learning science into real-world results.
I create learner-centered, performance-based experiences that help students and professionals build real skills, solve real problems, and succeed beyond the classroom.
My Approach
Learner-Centered
If learning doesn’t connect with learners, it doesn’t work. That’s why I start every project by understanding who the learners are, where they’re starting from, and what they need to achieve. Through careful front-end analysis, I look at their current knowledge, skills, and attitudes, define clear outcomes, and design a path that gets them there—using the right strategies for their needs, not just what’s trendy.
Science-Driven Solutions
My design decisions aren’t guesswork—they’re grounded in proven instructional design theories, models, and frameworks. I draw from research-backed practices to create learning experiences that are not only engaging, but effective and measurable.
Smart Tech for Adult Learning
I use technology with purpose, not just flash. Every tool I choose has to earn its place by making the learning more accessible, engaging, or effective. If it doesn’t serve the learner, it doesn’t make the cut—because for adult learners, relevance is everything.
Expert Input, Instructional Impact
I work side-by-side with faculty and subject matter experts to turn their knowledge into meaningful learning experiences. They bring the expertise, I bring the design know-how—and together, we build courses that are accurate, engaging, and instructionally sound.

A Call for Learner-Centered, Performance-Based, Active Learning Experiences
Humbled by their Praise
I was overwhelmed when our company changed computer systems. We were all scared to learn the new program. But Jenny was so patient and took us through a lot of examples. The workbook was really easy to use, too. I never felt behind and by the end of the week I could do anything in the new system that I needed to. I don’t know how we would have made it without Jenny.

Jenny helped me by making sure our training was clear, well-organized, and easy to follow. I appreciated her creativity and willingness to jump right in! She always had a positive attitude, even when deadlines were close. Her best strength is explaining and breaking things down so they are easily understood. The result was a much-improved training guide! I recommend Jenny to anyone who needs a smart, proactive teammate willing to collaborate on complex projects. She is awesome!
