Welcome - I’m so glad you’re here!
I’m Jenny Seale — an instructional designer and learning strategist with a passion for helping adults learn in ways that actually prepare them for real-world success.
My journey into Learning & Development began with a blinking cursor.
On my first day as a software test engineer at IBM — fresh out of college with a degree in computer science — I was confident… until I realized I had no idea how to use the Linux system in front of me. Despite all my academic knowledge, I couldn’t even get started. That humbling moment shaped my entire career.
Today, I design training and learning experiences that don’t leave people staring at a screen, unsure of their next move. I believe learning should be relevant, applied, and transformative. It should build confidence and competence — not just transfer information. That’s why I ground my work in evidence-based learning theories, learner-centered design, and performance-based outcomes.
As a Master’s student in Training & Development at Roosevelt University, I’ve grown not only in knowledge, but in conviction: learners deserve better. They deserve instruction that meets them where they are, challenges them meaningfully, and supports them every step of the way.
This site is a glimpse into that philosophy in action — where strategy meets empathy, and learning leads to lasting change.
